05 no power cold, random acceleration warm?

Guys, a horse friend of my girlfriend sent her a message looking for help with her 05. I haven't looked at it yet, but I may try to tomorrow. It sounds like a bad ECM, but I wouldn't jump to any conclusions until I diag it a bit more and talk over her exact problem.

Just curious what you guys think, this is the message she sent Tracey

"hi i have a 05 dodge cummin diesal....when it is not warmed up and you put it in gear you can floor it and it has no power...then when it is warmed up and you put your foot on the brake the engines revs up and shoots out from under me...its been 3 places and no one agrees and there not cheap things"
