Launching an HO/Auto= defueling

My nephew wants to launch harder at the strip. He pulled a 14.8 at 91.9 mph with the 140 hp Quad box. His 60' are about 2.1, if he tries to launch harder the motor defuels. He wants to come out hard in 4x4 and try to get a low 14.

So is there anyway around the defueling when stalling out the truck to launch?
