aFe Pro-Guard 7

I read about the new aFe proguard 7 filters in TDR issue 41 and I have a few questions.

First, I was was not going to install a reusable filter in my truck do to the negative press they have received due to dust passing through the filter but according to aFe this new filter is suppose to rival a paper filter in it's filtering ability. What do you guy's think?

Second, if I decide to purchase one should I just get the drop in replacement or should I go with the whole set up? If I get the replacement air box how well do they seal against water coming in such as during a heavy rain or when washing the truck and you spray water between the fender and hood?

Finally, is the tube gizmo that Geno's sells to replace the
restrictive factory tube between the air filter and turbo worth buying?

One last thing, If I do the mod's how much louder will my turbo be? I would not mind hearing it a some more but I don't want it to be obnoxious either.
