What grade???
Just back from a 2000-mile tow through West Va to Indiana/Ohio. First run with the Torque Dog. Had about 800lbs in the bed, three on-board with luggage and a 28' Classic enclosed car trailer (4000 lbs) loaded with a 4000 lb '35 Chrysler Airflow.
Up the longest 7% grade we have on the east coast at 70 mph in 6th, EGTs right at 1200 using high fueling position. Never got close to the floor. 
Tried 6% grade in mid-fueling position, same results. Averaged 14.5 mpg over 1992 miles, ran on mid-position most of the trip (40% of mileage was with the trailer empty).
No codes. Now I have to get that EGT down a few degrees (new exhaust?) and call it done!
