inexpensive power upgrade for '04?
What is a good power upgrade for an '04? I would like to get some more low RPM torque for towing. My old 12 valve had a TST kit, and it Dyno'd at 253hp, 677 ft-lbs. My new '04, just doesn't seem to have the power it had.
I heard adding a box might help at the lower rpms. I want the new TST, but can't justify the $750 right now. My ultimate plans include a pac-brake, tst powermax CR, air intake, exhaust upgrade, and better clutch (I think this covers everything). I may be better off waiting for the warranty to expire. That was part of my reasoning getting a new truck. I wanted something under warrranty.
I still love my new truck, but I just don't keep my foot in it too much like I should. I would like to get some more "lugging" power. (but I won't forget to keep it clean out )
Thanks,
Dave
