EGR open, how much boost am I losin'?
While operating off-highway (track only) with my 49 state (non EGR) intake I have noticed that under high boost conditions the EGR valve opens coating the outside of the intake with soot. (The egr apparatus is still attached to the exhaust manifold, not the intake). How much boost am I losing? Will I see a signifigant performance improvement by blocking the EGR off completely? (it makes an unpleasant flapping sound but only under 25+ lbs boost) I still get 32psi at max throttle according to my westach guage.
