Broken input shaft??????
Hello and Happy New Year!!
I was pulling away from an intersection last saturday ,So I rolled into the throttle a little bit , Got to about 20 psi and BANG! the RPM's spiked hard and no more pull . I turned into a parking lot with the momentum I had left checked under the truck, Clean and dry no funny sounds in drive or reverse just revvs up like neutral... park still locks the output shaft .
When it broke there was definitely a metalic snap that sent a shutter through the truck...
I've had this transmission for about 4 years and never thought it would have handled my abuse .Its all BD parts including a first generation TC only rated at 300 HP and under .I want to get a DTT or ATS complete trans but I dont know how bad off it really is... Any info would be greatly apreciated I gotta get my baby going again ... Thanx in advance....
