Talk my friend out of a 6.0/6.4 Ford

My friend is a Ford guy, as I was. I really cannot bad mouth the 7.3 Powerstroke too much - I liked mine and dumped it only becuase of the wimpy transmission and lame turning radius. But he wants a F-350 dually crew cab, and it's unlikely he'll go old enough to get a 7.3. He's entertaining new or an 05 to 07 6.0. With teen age kids, I can't argue with the rear seat room compared to a Dodge. I know the 6.0 has a bad rep here on TDR, but didn't some of the bugs get worked out after the initial 2003.5 introduction? I would think due to much higher cost and zero track record, the 6.4 is a much bigger gamble than a late 6.0. I guess I'm looking for some real stats on what's wrong with them. Any web sites or other sources that I could steer him to to provide full disclosure of the risk?
