New 3500 qclbsw 6.7 68rfe
I think I have finally gone over the edge! After 3 injectors and and a lift pump within the last 3 months and only 40,000 miles I pulled the trigger on a new 6.7 auto 3500. Now this is not an easy decision as the price is somewhere between Porsche and S class Benz. As I cannot pull my 5vr with either of those vehicles and since the new ULSD is like the unleaded fiasco of the 80's I think this is the best choice. I drove a short bed version and was very impressed with the quit smooth power; the ability to make a manual out of the auto and how well the exhaust brake worked. I know there are several cc's out there with big miles on them and just wanted some backup for spending 50 large on an everyday driver that makes lots of short short trips (not good for a diesel) and a few long trips pulling 13+k (not good for a gasser). As always any and all view points are greatly appreciated.
