Check Engine Light

In the Diesel Power test of a Cab and Chassis 6.7L they experienced some check engine lights. Also heard that CELs are a common thing in 6.7Ls with their sophisticated electronics.

Have you guys with new 6.7s had any CELs? Also, I heard that the 6.7L ECM will also cancel CELs if you turn the engine off, wait a few minutes, and turn it off. True statment?
