MIL Light

Good day everyone,

Bare with me please this is my first post so I will start with a little about my self. I am an Aircraft Hydraulics Specialist originally from Ohio and in the Air Force currently stationed in California at Edwards AFB. In May I ordered my first Dodge diesel (6.7) and took delivery 3.5 weeks latter and subscribed to TDR immediately after. Absolutely an OUTSTANDING truck with higher quality than I'm used to with GM. But then its been 12 years since I bought a new vehicle.

Now to my questions.

I had the new TSB down loaded at 1500 miles because the MIL light had come on and the EVIC came on with catalyst at 80% about 20 miles later. Today I was driving and the MIL light came on so I figured it was time for an active regen so I drove on the highway for an hour. The MIL light did not go off. How do I find out why its on, what code set and how do I clear the light once the situation has been remedied?
