Turbo Failure

I have a 3500 6.7l auto 4x4 with about 2700 miles on it. Last weekend the CEL came on. I cycled the ignition and codes P061A and P2262 pop up (Level 2 Torque Performance & Turbo Boost not detected). Took it to the dealer, they said it was a turbo changer failure. It has been at the dealer for over a week now because the turbos are on back order. I can't get my dealer to tell me anything. Is turbo failure a common problem on these 6.7Ls? Has anyone else had this problem or know what is causing the turbo failures? Does anyone know if Cummins or DC has addressed the problem?
