Silencer Rings in Turbo?

Does anyone know if these turbos on the 6.7's have the same old silencer ring snapped in like the old trucks do that give you a better turbo whine if you remove it? I thought I would check here first before taking a look, looks like its not quite as easy getting into the turbo as my 01.
