Questions about turbo cool-down times...

I have owned Dodge Cummins since 1991, currently own a 2005. I always let the engine run for a couple of minutes before shutting down, even more if I have been pulling long and hard. I thought I read something about the new engines cooling the turbo down by a sensor now that the turbo is water cooled... Thanks in advance as always!
