anyone with an H&S kit please help...

anyone that has an h&s kit have you had a problem with the cel coming on and the catylst full message coming up about every 10 minutes? i have even gone as far as to use butt style crimp connectors to hook the box up!! did i accidently recieve one of there old boxes that didnt have all the bugs worked out?
this is not only annoying but after the second time the message comes up on the overhead i swear the truck litteraly starts to drink fuel, and id like to know where its going... i hope not the crankcase
