What do you think ??? Help Me

MY engine light has came on, and the overhead shows the warning of 70% full than it works it's way to 100% in about 45 minutes. I might drive 5 miles or 500 and it will re-cycle thur it again. I have noticed during the last few hundred miles that I am blowing a small amount of black smoke on take off and I can send a nice cloud when I punch it. The perform service warning has came on also, but my dealership has yet been able to provide me with a EGR Filter. The truck has 130k on it and 99% of it has been highway driving usally in the tow haul mode. Truck has been great up to this point and only the MPG could be improved a bit. This problem has me scratching my head...
