Egr/cooler delete

Do you guys think if I bought the correct gaskets I could use them as a template to trace and fab up the block off plates for the egr delete and the cooler delete? Does any one know part #'s ??? or any tips for fabing up my own . I want to have the parts ready to go on as soon as the stuff comes off. K2 has them for 120.00 or so ...seems like a very simple task to fab up ..just would like to have a template before hand.
