ticking motor

I have a 2008 megacab dually 6sp man 3.42 gears., the motor has a tick/tap at any rpm. Sounds louder under right side of motor. Does anyone else have this noise. Took it to the dealer and they said normal noise., Doesn't sound normal to me.
