Thumbs down BA Flash on 2007 6.7 3500

Got the BA flash a couple of weeks ago and now my around town gas mileage is as bad as it was when the truck was new and they kept telling me it would get better. Also towed the travel trailer up to northern Arizona and power seemed less than my old 95 Ram diesel had. It would hold the hills better than the new truck and it had 3.54 gears and a lot less horsepower and torque. Also exhaust brake seems like it cuts in and out on deceleration with it on.
Gas mileage is now at 11.5 and going down.
What is the reason behind all these flashes if they don't make improvements in horsepower or fuel mileage? I am starting to hate this truck.
