Are you basing your mpg loss on hand calculations or the overhead computer?

I feel I have had the same issue. Did exactly what u say. I am now convinced that the programming has something to do with it. Hopefully a diesel tech on here can shed some light on the answer?

One or more of our TDR member/Dodge-Cummins techs have already stated on more than one occasion that the latest reflashes do not reduce power, performance, or fuel mileage. I don't see any reason they would lie to us.

I had a requested, voluntary reflash done on my truck about three months ago and noticed no changes in driving or economy.

There is now a test that runs with the scanner when the 2262 is present. The result will be one of the following.Update software only, clean turbo, replace turbo or a combination there of.
The shop should verify all the system is working correctly to prevent reoccurance.

Replaced Turbo at 16,000 miles same code as yours

Well, I have not driven my truck for over a month as I have had three Kidney stone operations and still need at least one more scheduled for Dec 7...with that said, I drove my 2007.5 dually from Nor Cal to South Cal yesterday for a total of around 1100 miles in one day. I have not had time to put the Edge back in since my truck got a new turbo and reflash. The overhead says that I was getting 18-19 miles per gallon.. I never did hand check it as I have two stents in you know where, and when I stopped(often) I had to run to the bathroom.. The truck ran great and with the new turbo, it doesn't buck when you have the exhaust break on and it has full power.. I have my fingers crossed that all will be well from here on out. Turbo went out at !6,000 miles..truck is only used to pull my various boats as I have other daily drivers. Missed the Edge for the turbo timer as well as the Active Regen indication. The trip was for not as the boat I went to buy had a rotted transom...$160 in fuel and 12 hours on the road...Oh well, the truck has never had a trip like that since I bought it with 9,800 miles on it so I will chalk it up to a day in my truck along with the radio blasting with sat radio...
