Darned HEAVY truck!
I weighed my truck last Sunday at a closed truck scale at Vernita Bridge, WA (no one but the locals know where the heck this is. . . )
Anyway for my 2wd shortbed:
Front axle = 4000 exactly
Rear axle = 2750
Total 6750
This is 3/4 tank of fuel and about 75lbs misc. items, without anyone in the truck.
This truck is almost 350 lbs heavier than my previous truck, a '01 2500 2wd shortbed. ALL the additional weight is at the front wheels, the rear ends weigh exactly the same. Besides the cab I wonder where the additional weight comes from??
