#4 plate vs. stock clutch

Ok, here's the deal. I'm going to (hopefully) try out a #4 plate soon in my truck. The timing is at 15.5 and I have gauges, but other than that it is stock. Any bets as to if the stock clutch will hold? If I slide the plate back would that increase it's chances for survival, or is the #4 just too much?

I know the '95 is a little weak w/ only 175 hp so I'm looking for the biggest "bang for the buck" but I can't afford to replace the clutch right now.

Thanks,
Mike
