Diesel secret energy .63 cents per gallon
I thought i'd start a new thread with inflation factored into DSE's .46 cents per gallon. that is my actual cost on a 20 gallon batch.
I have been driving about a week, about 250 miles and so far i am very pleased. my truck seems to be quieter and it seems to have better throttle response. the only real difference that i can tell is that it takes slightly longer to warm up before i candro[ it in gear. the oil that i am using for this initial test is commercialy recycle and filtered sunflower oil. the mixture is pretty close to #2 diesel. temps have been in the low 70's. this blend should be good down to low 30's.
the only modification that i have done to my truck is the installation of a fleetguard coolant heated filter. i would strongly reccomend that anyone wanting to use DSE's formula do something similar.
now the big question. is the DIESEL SECRET ENERGY formula snake oil or is for real? I HAVE NO IDEA. i am not a chemist, but for a cost of .15 cents a gallon, i will continue to use it until someone convinces me that it is snake oil.
I hope others that are trying this formula will add their comments either positive or negative.
