Refine your own Diesel??

HI All,

With the high price of diesel and the fact that I use so much of it I have been looking for ways to save $$....Everything from making Bio or using WMO, To Running Red....BUT something that caught my eve was this eBay ad from Australia....
(item # 270235383014)....Has anybody tried this?...I asked my father about if it seems reasonable (he is a chemist) and he said if you heat used motor oil and condense it in a fractional distillation tower it is possible.....Has anybody here actually tried? I am curious but really hate to spend so much on plans that may or may not work...
