Which processor/washer to buy or build?

I'd like to invest in a high quality bio-diesel processor. I like the eXtreme mini refinery because of the large metal heated pre-heating tank (even though the reactor tanks are plastic). I also like the dry washing idea. The $20,000.00 pricetag is high, but I've got a small fleet of rigs to fuel along with my family's trucks. $20,000.00 is less than a year of fuel for us.

On the other hand, I can weld and fab pretty well and like the plans for the Murphy's Machines MM500. I feel that the metal reactor tanks would be safer and allow hotter temps if necssary. I'd like to use this processor with a set of the larger dry wash filters from the eXtreme set-up.

My biggest concern is a clean, safe, efficient processor that produces quality fuel. I'd also like to be able to make a large (300-500 gal.) batch, so I'm not screwing around all month making fuel. I plan on installing the processor in a dedicated building.

Are there any processors I am missing out on? What are people's thoughts on dry washing vs. water washing?

Thanks
