Smile Zee master plan....

Well I made my own heat coil for the transfer flow tank so that I can run WVO I've been collecting.
I can see why people charge a lot of $$$ for so called "conversions".
Mucho time is in this, and not a lot of $$$.
Since my fuel level sender was shot in the TF, I pulled it out, and it made more room for the coil.
The coil. Man...where do I start. I'd suggest that if anyone was to do this themselves to get a LOT of extra coil to practice with. I used a whole 20' coil section of soft aluminum to come up with what I used. A simple U shaped piece about 16" deep.
I've got a seriously nice coiled section that I hoped to put in the tank. I'm really proud of it, but there was no way I could get that in there no matter how hard I tried. Anyone building a still? Even the simple U shape was a &^%$* to get in there. I could have opened up the hole in the tank a little, but there was still about 1" of fuel, and I didnt want to put all those shavings down in my fuel.
I cut two holes in the pickup/return line assy to put two "through the hull" fittings in to hold the in and out sides of the coil. I looked all over and could not find weldless fittings. The through the hull fittings will work for me, I have a cap, so I shouldnt get much if any water on top of the tank.
I also used 20' of 5/8" heater line and a few wire ties.
Oh yea, I added a 1000 watt "tank type" water heater I got off ebay just before the TF tank. To heat it up when I'm at home.
I wanted to put in 2 ball valves so I could isolate it if needed, but ran out of time. Maybe later.
