Talking Late summer Charity Dyno Day with the Ford crowd (not ATS)

Just wanted you all to keep in mind that we still want to get our two clubs together and do a team charity dyno day. Last time we were up at PFI, I talked to the new owner for a bit and (with the help of Mike Lockner) explained a little about what we were thinking on this deal. He said that he would cut us a much better deal for the day rental fee and help out with some extra charity stuff for this. He really seems to want to work with us on making this happen.

What I am thinking is that since our club schedule is filling up so fast for the summer (and I gotta fit some waterskiing time in there somewhere too), that we might shoot for either August or September. That way we could also promote it at Truck Fest at Bandimere. Maybe I can even get them involved somehow, but if not, I know they would let us promote it at the very least.

We just need to work out the details on how we are going to work this (setting up teams, picking a charity, etc...). The Hot Dog Lady has gone out of business, so I will start working on a local restaurant maybe helping us out with some lunch or something. If any of you have any ideas for that as well, please let me know.

So, think about dates (a Saturday), food, charities, how to set up the teams (Sticks had a really good idea for that before), etc.....

Thanks guys! I can already hear the wheels grinding!
Shay
