Cool Goerand Bors. Charity Dyno Event

Well, after much screwing around and one year hiatus, the GB Transmisions charity dyno event is back on. We are planning on having it on the 27th, 28th, and 29th of August (the date has been changed below to Sept. 10-12). We will have two dynos available for use with proceeds being split between two charities. The Ronald McDonald House in Rochester, MN and Camp Sunnyside in Iowa. These are the same charities we've always donated proceeds to.

We will have contests (anyone have any good suggestions for contests, I'm game), door prizes, and prizes for different categories. Most HP in the respective classes of competition.

The cost of entry will be $50 (we've had to raise it to accomodate some rises in expense costs). The entry fee includes dyno runs, lunch, and drinks (non-alcoholic of course). We are going to handle the dyno runs in this way. There will be a signup list. You get your runs with a 20 minute maximum time frame. You can then go do your mods, or tuning and come back on the machine after everyone else has run (basically you put your name back on the list) for no additional charge.
Sorry about this, but one tons will be limited to the portable unit that I'm bringing. Good news is that you won't have to take off your training wheels as in past years.

I will need some help (alot of help) with this event. If there are any volunteers, please let me know. In fact, Dave and I will be the only ones that will know how to run the dynos. And Dave will be busy with the crowd. So I will need a volunteer that will be willing to learn about the mods to Dave's machine. I will be the only one running the portable unit. We will also need people to help load and unload trucks from the machines. There will be some other odds and ends that will need to be covered, but I think I should be able to handle most of it.

Please stay tuned to this thread for Camping and logistical information. I'll get all that to you guys as soon as I am able. Hope to see you there

Aron
