Cool DRossi

I have a 2001 2500 extended cab with an air conditioner/heater problem.
The blend door mortor runs constantly and there is no control over the tempature. If you request full cold the motor runs one direction and full hot it reverses. But it never stops. What is the control on the motor? Is there a temp sensor that stops the door in the proper position or is it resistance or a position sensor?
