3G intercooler fit a 1997 12v?

Ok here is the deal I have a 1997 12 vavle.....I know that the 24 valve intercooler is bigger and fits in a 12 vavle.

What about a 3G intercooler? I have a line on one for cheep. Im just looking for some cooler egt's. Will a 3G intercooler fit in a 1997? What will need to be done to do this change?
