Building a Pulling Truck....What mods ?

OK, Truck is a 98 Quad Cab Long bed, 12 valve, 5 speed. Now, this is for us backyard mechanics here. . . . so dont tell me to order up a Scheid motor...

What modifications are the best for sled pulling? Plates, turbos , injectors, ladder bars, tires, pumps, clutches, transmissions, ..... anything that you would use to modify the truck, what all is needed to build a truck that would be a contender ? Trying to think of everything that will be needed, so I can start planning. The class I intend to pull in is the Super Street. Suggestions anyone ?
