EGT Question

My question is, i want to start sled pullin in the future and plan to run the TST CR along with a intake and better exhaust and before anything i will have a SB DD installed, ill be on the stock turbo for a while and i know my egts are gonna get hot while pulling, but how hot will they get and what should i set the egts at on the TST to sled pull? Some one told me that there gonna get hot and just let em in that short of a run i will be fine but that sounds scarry to me!!! What do some of u pullers think? Truck is a 06 3500 G56 just incase it dosent show up
