1/4 mile and WEIGHT

I seem to remember hearing something like a tenth of a second per 100#'s, is that a "general rule o thumb?
What brings this up is I saw "a guy"

run a 12.62@ 108mph recently on #2 only. And he had front AND rear winch bumpers WITH winches plus a toolbox full o tools in the bed and big mud tires. Curiousity (sp) is driving me nuts
