EGT/Pyro problem
Just wondered if anyone had seen this:
Got an Autometer ultralight with about 2 years on it - no probs. Out beating on the truck last weekend (over 1600 several times) and toward the end of the day, the gauge started to "flicker" on and off - like something was loose inside it or something, until it quit completely and needle hangs at what would be about -200.
Mind you - I have had the temp over 1600 several times previous to this weekend and it has never hiccuped.
Anyway, anyone seen same? Not sure how to "test" it to see if it's gauge, probe, or wiring...
