Hooked up my Grid Heater...no more Ether!

Well, this weekend I hooked up my grid heaters (manual style with a heavy duty lighted rocker switch). Getting everything figured out was easy...the only thing I did wrong was I hooked them up to one of the AUX power ports on the GM fuse box....they take alot of power...I blew two 60amp fuses! I then wired them right to the battery and its all good now!

First time firing I flipped the switch and let it go for 20 seconds then cranked for a few seconds with the fuel off (lube up the system) and then hit the fuel and if it was off and running!!!! Without them I could never get it going even on a hot day and I was getting tired of having to get out everytime and spray the ether!

The engine still hazes quite a bit with the grids on but not nearly as bad as it did and its also alot quiter at start up...once its warm it purrs like a kitten!
