cheby gasser really wanted some

I was coming down a country road when out of the dark, headlights approached me from behind with blazing speed. My first thought was "oh **** it's a sheriff". As the vehicle went by me (at this point I seen that it was some kid with a lowered cheby) he stayed next to me for a few seconds revving his engine. I seen he had gauges so I assumed he was chipped or whatever the gassers do. Then he takes off from the following stop slowly as if he just really wants me to try and pass him up. My first thought was no for the reason being its dark out in the country and for another I didn't think I can beat a tuned up cheby gasser. Long story short my Cummins competitiveness got the best of me so I took his bait and tried to pass him up. I rolled into it and at first it was close but something happened and my truck just left him. Wow I didn't think my truck was fast enough for what I got to beat him.

Oh, by the way, I turned on the next road figuring it was over and he followed me like a kid who had his candy tooken away. So there he went to pass me up again and I gave him one more effort but I waited too long as he went by me. I still caught to him on the top speed but he cut me off right away. I guess he wanted the feeling of going home beating me.
