Weighed the Truck...Im a happy Guy!!!!

Well, after 3 years of building up my truck and worrying about it being over 8000LBS I finally got to weigh it yesterday!

For those that don't know its a CK-style GMC crew-cab Dually that I dropped a Cummins/6-speed/241HD, Dodge D60 front and 11.5AAM rear.

The truck was originally a Reg-cab 2wd with a 350/5-speed and it weight 6700Lbs.

With all the Mods and with me in it (250Lbs) it is only 7520Lbs!!! I had nothing but smiles when I saw the scale zero in on it! I was really worried it was going to be over 8000 after hearing about alot of Dodge Quad-cab duallys pushing almost the 8K mark!

So it looks like I am going to have to start fabricating my front weight bracket so I can hang the difference out front.

One question...how many guys have gone with a roll pan in the rear and lost the tail gate for pulling? I figure I could shave at least 100 right there.

There are pics in my Readers Rig's section if anyone one wants to see it.
