How is the GT42 as a single?

Just curious what you guys think of the GT42 as a single? I tried one with my very tight auto last year and it was a pain to get lit. However, now that I am running a manual this year I thought about giving it another try. Also, what is everyones experience with some of the 3" turbos that Haisleys and Schieds sells? Any other good single turbos that work well with something similar to a super street class?
