24valve anti-fueling at launch?

I have a 98.5 24valve and I am wondering which years have the anti-fueling at launch with auto transmissions? I heard the racers anti-defuelers box only works on certain model years, is this true? Is the comp pro good enough for anti-defueling for 4wd launches? The more I read about this thing, the more I don't get it. The truck is getting twins put on in the shop, so I can't see for myself, and I am getting everything I can think of to get ready for drag racing this spring!
