Building 1000hp....

OK.... I know its rare, but what will it take to make a extreme 12 valve. I am trying to get an idea of which way I need to go, with this....

I am getting a 95 2500 2wd auto 12 valve.

I plan on chopping the frame to a short bed and building a four link for the rear. I want this truck to be streetable, but with wild power. What kind of mods will it take? What can I expect to spend? Is there anyone with a truck like this in Texas I could go look at? This will be a project of mine. Please teach me how to make power out of these, I am just a 3rd gen guy.
