Building a pro mod sled pulling body

I am looking for some suggestions on my BBD II tilt body. We are building from scratch and its going to be a late model 2006 body, doing it from scratch I have lots a options before painting. One of the major ones I have been dealing with is wether to make it look like a street truck i.e tail lights, head lights, tail gate handle, keeping them in tack of course the tires, lexan, and hood stack would gove it away

Or do I shave the tailgate handle fill in the tail and head light openings weld the tailgate panel to the bed etc.....

Thoughts?
