Head Gasket or O-ring in a Common Rail??

A buddy of mine keeps popping his head gasket in his 06

ARP head studs and a OEM gasket

I've talked to a couple different people that have built and seen trucks that Are running 80+ PSI with just studs and a OEM gasket with no problems

What is everyone else doing for this????
