I made Diesel Pulling History tonight

Actually, 7 of us did.

May 26, Mercer, Pennsylvania.

Full Pull Productions of the ATPA kicked of their new sanctioned Modifed Street Diesel class with a 7 exhibition pullers.

I was THE FIRST Puller of the class. Nerves got to me, and I blew my launch, but got it under control and made 292.

Lorretta Mitchell Promptly went 311.
Dave Mitchell broke a u-joint around 300
Blackdog broke something right behind him.
I was 4th at 292
Nihiser, got 289
Deshong
Some Ford guy off the street, just pulled on the track!?!?!

It was a great night, with around 3000 people, and ESPN filming.

I have no chance of getting on TV, as the large Amsoil decals overshadow the "C" and "L" oil sponsor decals of the class.

You think that was bad?

I had to put a DURAMAX DIESEL DECAL ON MY TRUCK.
