Talking Whooped a ricer tonight....

Just came back from watching "The Red Dragon"...the "prequel" to all the other Hannibal movies, and first off, I must say it was an excellent flick.

Anyway, on the way back from the theater, I have 3 of my friends along in the CTD. There's this little riced out 4 door Honda Civic that is riding my bumper the whole way, on a four lane road....so, the Comp goes up to 5x5. He heads out to go around, and we get into it....at 3/4 throttle, we're side by side and 90 mph, and I'm just waiting...never even shifted out of 4th. I keep playing with him, and he finally decides to drop back in behind me and turn his brites on. BTW, when he was next to me, I noticed his girlfriend was giving him the lecture, so figured he didn't want anymore....wrong!

At the second stop light, we have a turn to the left...two turn lanes. I'm in the right (outer) he's in the left (inner). As you all know, with the Comp on 5x5, you can't keep the tires hooked up around a corner, so I didn't even launch with any boost. The light went green, and he got on it. I came through the corner easy, until about halfway, then broke 'em loose....as we came out the other side, he had 2 lengths of his car on me...but that was when I got traction. There's no doubt that he was all over his 6 cylinders, cause I didn't pass him till 75. But, at that point, when I rolled down the window and waved, he was done.

Felt pretty good to get my first ricer under my tires...more to come, I'm sure. Anyway, just had to brag about opening a can of whoop-*****. Thought you'd all appreciate it.

Later, Josh.
