I want a Dodge???

I want a Dodge but what should I get,new or old?I like the new body style of the 2003's and their common rail fuel injection to.But are they good for bombing?I heard in the past that the 98 12v were the best ones to bomb to.Sense I am a Ford guy,right now at least,and don't know that much about the Dodge Cummins trucks I though I would ask y'all for some advice.I want 4x4,reg cab and auto or manual.Thanks in advance
