Team DPM made another trip to the track Saturday night.
Jeff lowered his best ET to a 10.74 @ 125mph.
Randy Cobb made his first sub 14 second pass in his 2500 at 13.95 @ 96 mph.
Mike Batterson made his best pass of 15.1 @ 91 mph in his 2wd dually.
I ran a best of 14.2 @ 94 mph in my 2500.
The Dakota is getting a tranny rebuild this week so it has not been in action. I guess so I could prepare for the ride, Jeff insisted I make a pass in his truck. Well boys, I can say I have now piloted a 10.90 pass at 125 mph.
What an awesome ride. The launch is so violent that vision is blurry. The G's slamming you in the seat while you can feel the slicks fighting to keep traction. The RUSH as 4th gear comes in and like no other drag car I have driven, the last part of the track feels as strong as the first. Simply Awesome!!!
Jeff still has traction issues. Until we can clear those up, we can't add more power. It's coming though, this thing has a 10.50 in it just as it sits if we can hook at the line. So far we cannot get under a 1.5 60 foot chewing on the slicks all the way through it.
