Guy from town tonight pulled a U-ie and high tailed it after me to ask me where I had my stacks done. He drives a 2001.5 2500 Reg Cab 4x4 5spd.
Well we BS'd for a few mintues and then he wanted to run 'em
So off we went to an abandoned road to race side by side. I straight up told him what I had done to my truck, and my buddy with me even told him "
its stout!" but he wanted to run just for the heck of it. He said he had sold his truck around December and the guy had it for a while an then he got it back, but while the other guy had it a white dodge with "got smoke" on the tailgate dusted him by 1/2 a truck lenght one day.
So anyways on with the race...... we line up and we're both revving and he say's "whenever your ready" so my buddy in the passenger seat holds up his arm and then drops it..... well I spin like crazy cause I'm not gonna race/launch in 4x4. He started to pull away from me, but my tires finally hooked around 3200RPM
shifted to 3rd and layed into her again and by 3-grand in 3rd he was behind me and it was all over but the
4th gear and he started fading..... we slowed back down a ways up the road and the 4 words outta his mouth were priceless...."
that trucks ****ing stout!"
He said some stuff about gettting a box and injectors and such.... I simply said "come find me when you get them" hehehe
