A question for all that are running a Scotty II, with twins

On step 4 of the Edge Comp, I haven't run it on 5 yet,with the waste gate set to 55psi of boost.I can pull the filter minder down all the way.The cowl has a 4.5in hole and I also doubled the size of the opening in side of the Scotty II housing.The filter is brand new with the factory oil on it.Has any one else had this problem,and what did they do to solve it, short of getting rid of the Scotty II housing. Would apprecieate any suggestions.Merv
