You guys missed some killer fast passes.
Dennis Perry of TS Performance attempted to break his National record of 12.18. He missed setting the record but only after he popped his head gasket after his 11.56 @ 116 mph pass.
Jeff Garmon raises the MPH bar for Modified Diesel from 122 to just under 126 but missed breaking his ET record by exceeding his 1% back-up pass by .015 seconds. Tough one for sure. Jeff still treated us to a 10.67 pass at over 125 mph on diesel only.
We had so many fast trucks here and I will try my best to get the times right but some of the fast ones were in timed runs only and I don't get the printouts for those.
One Chevy Duramax w/ NOS running back to back 12.8's before toasting his Allison. TS Performance's PSD running 13.70's, 6 Dodge trucks running faster than 13.90's including a Garmon Powered 2WD 2500 owned by one of Jeff's customers that I got to race

that went 12.56.
Nine Division 2 racers attended. GOOD JOB!!! Robert Patton and Daughter Laura attended and raced. Robert in his 03 Cummins and Laura in her TDI Bug. Joe Web ( Sun Coast ) came up with his trucks and I truly appreciated his support. Joe has been such a big help to me, and I am sure a ton of others it was great to finally put a face to a name. Oh and by the way, three of the four finalist were Sun Coast Pro Loc transmission equipped. The other one was a 17 second stock truck.
The Win goes to a local racer in his 24v tow truck. Wesley took runner-up last year and first this year. Team DPM racked up with Randy Cobb taking second, Mike Batterson and Jeff Garmon going out in the semi-final round.
We have been asked to return for 04 so the plans are in the works to make this a Division 2 race again next September. Put it on your calendar. We raced in front of over 7500 hundred spectators and this is a great way to promote your sponsors.
