Roadmaster conversion truck for sale

1997 Dodge 2500 Pickup 2WD
NON-Smoking truck!!!

I am giving up my baby . I am doing way too much driving as outside sales now to small towns to want to drive her for that. My wife & I have used her for commuting a lot (averaging 45k per year). We are the second owner and have had her for 4 1/2 years.

I have used her to pull my car trailer and it works fine. Since Indiana has been enforcing their 10k pound rules on everyone towing, even private owners, it has a current DOT inspection. (It was a whole lot easier to pay the money than argue about revoking my drivers license.)

I get 19-22 mpg on the highway, 14-16 in town and 11-14 pulling my single car enclosed trailer at 62mph.

Brakes just rebuilt with new caliper
2 year old batteries
New leaf spring
All fluids have HyperLube additives in them
Lift pump replaced (I run 3 in line fuel filters and have NEVER had any problems with fuel)
Current DOT inspection

Additions
Fiberglass conversion unit on the cab by RoadMaster Towing ($12,000 unit)
52” long,
68” sofa/bed
separate heat/cooling unit
additional power outlets in back

Meets DOT regulations

Minuses
· Drivers seat shows some wear.
· Crack in passenger side box from a running board screw.
· Stone crack in windshield that I will repair prior to delivery. It doesn’t affect my visibility but I’m sure you will prefer it fixed.
· Air compressor doesn’t work. I have the new compressor just haven’t had time to put it on.
· Small wear mark from the tonneau above the passenger tail light.
· Sliding step sometimes doesn’t work. (either corroded connections or bearings need grease or trim molding slides down).

I'm asking $15,500 for it. I know that may seem a little high but it does have the $12k conversion. If you haul for a living and you buy it before the end of the year you could claim a full years depreciation on it.

Any questions please contact me at: hibschman1@comcast.net or 574-315-2218
